When you’re looking for a new air conditioning or heating system, it is important to factor in the total cost of owning a new HVAC system. While higher efficiency systems often are priced higher, they also tend to come with greater rebates and government incentives. The fall is a good time to purchase a new HVAC system, and before you take the next steps to purchase, below are two points to consider:
1. Federal and Local government agencies and your local Georgia utility company want you to be more energy efficient. They encourage the use of higher efficiency equipment to help reduce power consumption during the summer cooling season. That is the time which most often stresses the ability of the local power plant to keep up with demand. Incentives are offered by federal, state or local governments and utility companies and change frequently. These often come in the form of direct rebates, tax credits or tax deductions and can total more than $1,000 per system, depending on your geographic location and the type of system purchased.
2. When you purchase a qualifying Bryant® product or system, you can receive a rebate back on your purchase. You can receive a rebate up to $750 when you purchase a complete Bryant heating and cooling system that qualifies for Bryant Bonus. Products qualify for varying rebate amounts. To qualify you will need to purchase new Bryant equipment between the dates of August 14, 2017 to November 30, 2017. Equipment must be installed and rebates claimed on or before December 29, 2017.
